Description
This class is the perfect starting point for anyone interested in learning to make quilts. Over the course of three class meetings you will learn to use a rotary cutter, accurately machine piece, construct and combine blocks, layer the batting and fabric, bind the quilt and consider options for the quilting. The best part is that when you are finished with the class you will have a completed quilt top that can be finished and used as a wall hanging, a baby quilt, a table topper or a small lap quilt. Whether you prefer a modern approach to quilting or something more traditional, starting with a good set of basic skills will take you in any direction you choose. Some quilting tools and a sewing machine will be required. This is a 3 Session class. You will need to come in to the shop prior to the first class to make your fabric choices.
